Student Council
Moderator: Kendrick Johnson
The St. Augustine High School Student Council consists of elected officers, homeroom representatives, and various committees. The council's goals are to promote the traditions of St. Augustine, to be the voice of the entire student body, to foster discipline, to give public service, and to promote wholesome social activity. All students seeking office must clear attendance, disciplinary, and academic criteria. The 2009 - 2010 Student Council Election took place on May 15, 2009. There were 16 candidates that campaigned by filming short advertisements that were shown to all students via Channel 1. The new council will build on the foundation set by its predecessor while creating new ideas as it relates to student welfare. 2009 - 2010 Student Council Elected Officials Student Body President - Adam Badger Student Body Vice President - Bryan Cooper Senior Class President - Hakeem Holmes Senior Class Vice President- Austin Fleury Junior Class President - Damian Gordon Junior Class Vice President - Jacob Washington Sophomore Class President - Chad Aubert Sophomore Class Vice President - Jerome Steib Freshman Class President - Terry Robinson Freshman Class Vice President - Darren Scioneaux Eight Grade President - Graegg Holmes Eight Grade Vice Presidents - Lebron Joseph Tyler Richard Appointed Officials Seventh Grade Representative - TBA Communications Officer - TBA Executive Secretary - Ajani Gibson Freshman Secretary- Joshua Bartholomew The moderator and president will appoint homeroom representatives and committee on the recommendation of the faculty and staff. The 2009 - 2010 school year will be one of the greatest in St. Aug History.
